How do you count Monthly Active Users (MAU)?

Any user you notify or any user who interacts with the MagicBell inbox in any given month counts towards your monthly active user limit. So let's say in the current month, you notify 100 users, and another 150 users login to your app and see MagicBell. In this case, your MAU would be 250. Inactive users don't add to the MAU.

What happens if I cross the MAU limit for my plan?

We will write to you to help you migrate to the next plan. If it's a one-off spike, we'd be happy to let you stay on your current plan. We won't block the service and cause interruptions for your users without writing to you multiple times over many days.
